Just a few days after I told my grandmother I'd bought a brand spanking new sewing machine a package arrived in the mail. My grandmother hs always been an incredibly generous person. She'd gone through all her cottons and collected a range of colours for me in the hope that I wouldn't need to go out and purachse anymore.
Today I made a rainbow with all the beautiful cottons. Some of them are still on their original timber cotton reels so once they are empty they'll make fun threading toys for the children.
