I am definitely a fan of summer but there are some great things about winter: winter food, log fires and the smell of log fires burning in the street (if you don't have one of your own), scarves, woollies, jumpers, watching movies from the couch eating winter food, etc etc etc,.
Another of my favourite things about winter is my daphne. My Mum gave me this pot plant and after a winter or two here it has finally decided to flower.
The aroma of daphne on a cool winter's night has to be one of the best smells!
