We had a day out yesterday. Since 1987 the Australian Shakespeare Company has been putting on The Wind in the Willows (Kenneth Graham) in the Royal Sydney Botanical Gardens. The play is absolutely superb. The costumes (as you can see) are wonderful, the music modern and the show entertaining. As the story evolves you move through the botanical gardens. It is a special way to celebrate the gardens right on the foreshore of Port Jackson Sydney Harbour.
And we decided to catch the ferry in to Circular Quay, walk around and in to the gardens. B loves his scooter so that's how he travelled.
With the Sydney Festival in full swing here we'll try to get to as many of these events as possible!
